Elementor #8060

In 2017 after 8 years in a PhD program, during which I lost my father, gave birth to 2 children, and became a professor, I finally graduated. I walked across that stage, my dissertation title flashing on the screen, looking out to my proud family cheering me on. As happy as I was, I also felt sadness. I was sad my father, always my biggest fan, would not be able to share in that moment with me.

Nannies play such a vital role in the everyday life of families. This is why we believe it’s important to participate in National Nanny Recognition Week and take time to recognize and honor those who serve as childcare providers. We know we are nothing without our nannies and we strive to treat them accordingly. We are committed to educating, supporting and advocating for our nannies while offering a safe, fun and professional work environment.

What is National Nanny Recognition Week?

According to the National Nanny Recognition Week website, “NNRW is a week during which families, businesses, and the media will be encouraged to focus on the positive aspects of the nanny profession, the important role nannies play in the lives of the families and the wonderful contribution they make in the lives of the children they care for.”

Trusting Connections Heart of Excellence Award

In honor of National Nanny Recognition Week, our agency hosts a special annual contest called the Nanny Heart of Excellence award. We ask our clients or other members of the community to nominate a Trusting Connections nanny  deserving of the TC “Nanny Heart of Excellence” title. The nominee must be a current TC employee or formerly placed nanny. Fill out the form here!

National Nanny Recognition Week is September 20-26, 2020. The deadline to nominate a nanny for this award  is September 26, 2020. The winner will be announced on September 29th, 2020 on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
